Boyd Gaming HRIS ANALYST in Las Vegas, Nevada


Responsible for analysis and maintenance of company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Supports the needs of the business by leveraging knowledge of data and system architecture, HR policies, analytic capabilities, and understanding of the core business. Assist the HR operations in designing appropriate solutions to improve and streamline HR related processes as needed.

  • Assist in designing and building HR architecture to support standard suite of reports for business leaders
  • Analyze data to create reports, presentations, and recommendations for HR best practices
  • Leverage industry knowledge and experience, in conjunction with evaluating current HR processes to assist in identifying areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and partners including HR, IT, Benefits, Payroll and other end users of HR processes to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions
  • Identify issues with system configuration and/or process design to make recommendations for enhancement of system functionality
  • Assist in the maintenance of Lawson HRIS system
  • Develop and refine standard and ad hoc reporting
  • Design and develop timely and accurate ad-hoc reports with Excel and Lawson using query techniques for end users
  • Provide analysis and interpretation of report data as required
  • Ensure integrity of all HR systems data and executes system quality audits
  • Provide HRIS training to property human resources end users as needed and respond to support calls in a timely manner
  • Responsible for operations support to end users; streamline and improving current processes and determine business requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or IT, or equivalent relevant work experience in Human Resources preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years of functional experience in reporting and analysis is preferred
  • Proven ability to analyze various metrics and make recommendations with supportive data
  • Gaming/Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and function with competing priorities
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
